The Mystery Eggs are tempting, but that's what I tried in this tank and I'm a bit leary of buying three more if that was the failure point here. I'd prefer not to get extra tanks, but the fact that after shipping it would be cheaper than ordering direct from Transcience has got me leaning this direction.
#SEA MONKEY EGGS ONLY FULL#
I could also purchase a full set with tank from a local toy store for $17 ea.

I can get a mystery egg set off of Amazon for $10. My question what is the best (also most economical) way to do this? This sets from transcience cost $16 each + shipping. The instant-life crystals, in which the eggs are enclosed, preserve their viability and help to extend still further their un-hatched life span Sea-Monkeys® are real Time-Travelers asleep in biological time capsules for their. They exist in suspended animation inside their tiny eggs for many years.

I'm going to let the experiment run a bit longer but I'm also eyeing the possibility that I effed up and thinking that, if nothing grows, I'll transfer this water to a jar (just in case something shows evenetually) and start this tank again this time with 3 sea monkey starter kits (to reduce error). Sea-Monkeys® are a true miracle of nature. This kit contains everything you need to refill or start a new aquarium full of brine shrimp (Artemia) in the form of a brightly coloured dragon egg. That was, I think, 3 days ago and nothing has appeared in my tank. Each pregnant female normally yields around 20 babies. My first forray involved creating 24 ounces of water with the proper salinity and pH and then add 12 ounces of clean water and 1 packet of water purifier. There is no recorded gestation time the female will carry her egg sack simply until she decides it's time to give birth. I am trying to start a larger tank (approx 36 oz).
